Do I have to be Catholic?
No, you do not have to be Catholic to attend Presentation BVM Catholic School. However, our academic curriculum is rooted in the Catholic Faith, and is integral to the purpose of our school.
Is there financial aid available?
Yes, financial aid is available to those in need. There are various grants and scholarships available through the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, the Children’s Scholarship Fund of Philadelphia and the BLOCS program. Be sure to apply!
Is there a preschool program?
Yes, Presentation BVM does offer a Pre-K program.
Is there an aftercare school program?
Presentation BVM does offer an extended day program, C.A.R.E.S. (Children Are Receiving Extended Services) that provides care and activities after school. Time is set aside for a snack, indoor and outdoor recreation, homework and other activities. Hours are 2:30 pm to 6 pm each school day.
What extracurricular activities are available?
There are various extracurricular activities available to students to build a well-rounded education and to grow their individual interests. These include yearbook, student council, altar servers, band, media club and more! There are also various service projects to take part in.
What sports are there?
Presentation BVM offers sports through the CYO program, such as soccer, girls’ volleyball, cheerleading, bowling, basketball, baseball, softball and track.
What specials are offered?
Special classes at Presentation BVM include Art, Science Lab, Technology, Honors Math, Spanish, Physical Education and Music.
